What a let down! The Janet Jackson concert was scheduled for 7:30pm October 4th at the North Carolina Greensboro Coliseum. What a disappointment...did the economy take a bite out of ticket sales? So Ms. Jacksont felt it best to simply do a No Show as she did in Vancouver Canada this past Monday. What gives - her band arrived Friday at the Mariott downtown, they were all accounted for I think. Just as I neared the parking booth of the coliseum the parking attendant explained the show has been canned, barely minutes before the scheduled start time. He also mumbled a press release would follow on Sunday. Well Bully Bully. My theory: perhaps Ms. Jackson is undertheweather with babybump. If that's the case her fans will understand sudden sensitivity issues, especially at her tender young age. But if not there better be a darn good tooten reason why I'm out of $99.75 (which I plan to dispute with my credit card company on Monday)and lookin really hot too. By the way LL (a rapper from the 80's) was to appear for those who care. I'm just bummed by this whole ugly mess. Hope I pull myself together by the time the next concert is scheduled for Greensboro.
