There is nothing that Maggie Jo can’t do: she is an avid shopper with an insatiable craving for fashion, an attorney with a passion for First Amendment law, and a true socialite to boot. The energetic 28-year-old attorney moved from Bowling Green, Kentucky to Jacksonville in 2003. Here, she established her own firm, the Law Office of Maggie Jo Hilliard, P.A. (maggiejolaw.com), and is the president of High Heels & Hearts (highheelsandhearts.org), a charitable foundation for young, social women with big hearts and true fashion sense that has organized events and school-supply drives for local charities. “It really comes down to having the guts to do it,” she says. “I woke up one morning and thought, ‘you only live once.’” The enthusiastic artist has been freelancing graphic design for eight years (check out her work at maggiejo.com) and collaborated with her roommate to invent Project Bold, which develops creative marketing strategies for small businesses.

Maggie Jo Rocks!

I used to work with Maggie at the SAO and she was wonderful. Really sweet and funny. I'm glad to see she's so successful! -Ashley http://jacksonville.today.com

Rude and acerbic

I have found Ms. Hilliard to be a rude, self absorbed, thoughtless person.

She is flippant with her client's privacy and has no regard for the law, when it pertains to her personally.

She has never been my attorney, nor will she ever be. In addition, I would not recommend her representation, even for something as small as a traffic ticket!
