24/7 with Lisa J. Cook, Owner of Cook Fine Art, www.cookfineart.com,
My family:
Husband, Dan, and our boys: 5 year-old Ryan, and 2 year-old Aiden.
My work:
For now, and until the kids get older: art representative & jewelry maker.
My passion: Hearing my boys’ laughter—or really any child’s giggle.
My hometown:
Words I live by:
Each day we wake up and we have the choice to be the kind of person we want to be.
I am most proud of:
My boys.
If I could be totally wild, I would:
Sky dive!
Right now I’m reading:
Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde – I am trying to re-read some of the classics that I really liked back when I actually had time to read!
The one item that has changed my life:
I love, love, love my i-pod.
My theme song:
Shut Up and Drive by Rihanna. (Just do it and stop talking about it all of the time.)
If I could do it all over again:
I would have called in “sick” more often!
The most important thing I ever lost:
A good friend’s friendship.
The best thing I ever won:
When I was a young girl I won tickets to the ice capades….but had to take my sister with me.
I still can’t get the hang of:
Driving a stick shift. It makes me crazy.
I wish I’d known: To slow things down. Life is not a constant race to get to the next step.
The world would be a better place, if only:
Everyone got weekly massages and therapy. Everyone would be too happy to be mad.
I’d like to learn to:
Fly an airplane.
Something most people don’t know about me:
I am addicted to the golf video game that you find in some bars around town, like at Monkey’s Uncle.
My first job:
Working at a movie theater. I loved working the Rocky Horror Picture Show nights! It was pretty wild!
Always...
Say you love someone, provided that you do!
