The Goddess Issue

This month I pried into several women’s lives, asking, “How do you identify as a goddess?” I talked to Grace, our Girl Power for this month, who at 15-years-old is the most poised and articulate woman I’ve ever met, and I felt something spark inside me that I felt was dormant since my years as a feisty teenager. Listening to Grace speak candidly about how she wants to change the world sparked in me the fresh passion I felt in my youth when I believed I could do absolutely anything. I thought, why not awaken my inner goddess again, that woman who says “show me the challenge, and I’ll show you triumph?” Every woman in this issue has challenged an obstacle that caused her to turn to her inner goddess for strength. Their stories show us that our power as women is immense, and should be rekindled, trusted, and celebrated. I hope the goddesses in you are making some noise!
