Terrell M. Carr is a master mixer.

In high school, Terrell was mixing skin care solutions in his sink to create his own line of products. Now, at age 22, he owns Earthly Oasis, a line of natural skin care products born out of ingredients like shea butter, oatmeal, and honey. An all-around artist, Terrell also designs clothes and paints. “I’m free spirited,” he asserts, “I like to be my own leader.” However, he didn’t like chemistry in school. “I just wanted to start something on my own,” he explains. Terrell also appreciates the perks of working in a female dominated industry. “I could be judged,” he speculates, “but I respect that I’ve been welcomed by women into the market.” He also says it’s an educational experience regarding women. “It makes me more intrigued by women. When I ask about fragrances they like, I end up learning so much more about them,” he says.
