Hello from Charleston

I’m in Charleston with work right now.  I’m enjoying it, but the humidity is making my morning hairstyling routine a little futile.  The really nice thing about being away from home is the lack of responsibilities in the evening – since I don’t have my partner or the cats waiting for me at home, I am totally free to go wander about, frequent  bars and eat whatever I please.   I’m accompanied by a young coworker which has made for a couple of fun evenings sampling the local fare and, regrettably, staying out of trouble.  I am coming to the realization that I may be just a little too old to get into trouble.  I am heading home tomorrow and will no doubt be  ready for a weekend of hanging around the house and playing with the cats.
